Latest Leaders – January 2014

Latest Leaders logoEveryone is gearing up for the season, as evidenced by the brand-new Opening Day Countdown Down Under blog and its unique daily posts ahead of the Opening Series in Sydney (please follow it and suggest players each day as I post great Opening Day moments tied to player jersey numbers!). Dodger Insider stormed out of the gates in its first month, dominating the whole community, and we saw more impressive debuts with front office blogs from the Marlins (On Cloud Conine) and Giants (@Cafe Blog). Meanwhile, some Fan blogs are making their first Latest Leaders appearances — congratulations to Whitt Till Next Year, Everything Red Sox and The view from here. Follow their lead next month by joining our blog community and creating your very own MLB.com Blog, powered by WordPress.com, and don’t forget to click Sharing in the dashboard Settings and activate both Publicize and Share Buttons areas to increase your following.

Special thanks to the readers of Brewers Farm Report for making it all possible to obtain 11th in January.

Thank you and congratulations to everyone on the list. Spring training isn’t far away now, and I hope you’re all as excited as I am. I look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible this year. I’m writing a book and will be travelling a bit (St. Louis and Kansas City are already on my hit list!). Drop me a line and say hello. I came in at #41 for Fan blogs. http://thebluejaysdugout.com

Wow! First and foremost, THANK YOU to my old followers, and even some of the new names I have seen making comments, posting “Likes” and welcoming me back into the MLBlogs fold again. Feel energized and ready to rock this out in 2014, and maybe that short time away reminded me how much I miss writing, watching the game and reading posts on this great site. Getting into “game shape” by trying to post every 2-3 days going into Spring, and can’t wait to travel to Port Charlotte, Fl February 15th and watch the Rays pitchers and catchers stroll out to the field for the first time in 2014. THANK YOU again, it’s great to be back and pumped for the season!

Congratulations to all!! Congratulations to Dodger Insider! Thank you for my #15!!!
Love you all
-Emma
