It’s almost time for the first games between Major League teams. We are ready.

We just launched the MLB.com At Bat app today, so make sure you download and read my MLB.com story to understand some of the new options and subtle changes.

What an exciting time for baseball! Thanks for all of the updates from Arizona as I hope to catch up with all of you there soon. I just returned from the European MLB International Academy in Tirrenia, Italy, where I met up with the first Italian-born player ever signed to a MLB contract–Alessandro Maestri (who also was recently voted as the Australian Baseball League’s Fan Favorite)–as well as the promising Chicago Cubs up-and-coming catching prospect Alberto Mineo (who is now at Cubbie Spring Training). Read all about it in my latest blog: Italian coaching, cuisine, and culture make Italy world-class for MLB hopefuls and European scouts at http://mlbblogger.mlblogs.com This season let’s cheer on Italy’s first successful export to officially make it into Major League Baseball–Alex Liddi of the Seattle Mariners!
Ciao for now…

Is 55 degrees in Chatsworth, CA. Too cold for my bones. Looking forward to going to AZ Saturday for the Dodgers/White Sox Spring Training Fanfest. Never been to s Fanfest. Any tips for a rookie? :-)
