“Kitty” Kaat was a great pitcher who definitely deserves to be enshrined as a player in Cooperstown. He was also an outstanding TV analyst for the New York Yankees for many years who expertly applied his outstanding technical and historical knowledge of the game to enrich the experience for viewers of the team’s televised games.
