Spring training!

p.s im thankful the mets are trying to fix the bullpen….

hi is there anyway the mets would try to offer saito for less if he takes it and add him to the bullpen? just an idea… hehehe

Mark,

My last comment did register at the proper time: 9:51 AM … So, maybe, the “time” problem was corrected … That was quick, Mark !!! … Anyway, I hope all is okay now !!! … Jimmy [27NYY] … http://baseballtheyankeesandlife.mlblogs.com/

Mark, Just an observation …

It seems the times on the comments are listing “one hour” ahead of the actual times the comments are being submitted … For example, my comment above was submitted at: 8:41 AM, and is listed at: 9:41 AM … Then, on the “Recent Comments” section, these comments are not being registered until [again] one hour after the actual comment was submitted … This may be the reason, why, on some blogs, comments are being listed in the wrong order they were submitted, with the result being, some of the responses are being listed before the actual comments !!! … So, maybe, it would be a good idea to check this out, to at least, correct the times that are listed on the comments !!! … Thanks, Mark …. I’m thankful for baseball.I’m thankful for the Cubs and Wrigley Field.I’m thankful for DeRo, Sori, Soto, Kosuke, Z, Demp, Lee, Rami, The Riot, Piniella and the rest of the boys in blue.I’m thankful for having a place to share my baseball thoughts.I’m thankful for my family, my girlfriend, my dogs and coffee. I love coffee.I’m thankful for having the opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of comedy fans at a time and bring some much needed laughter and fun into their lives in a time where there are so many reasons to be stressed out.I’m thankful for finding my old Starting Lineup Ryne Sandberg figurine at my parent’s house yesterday after Thanksgiving dinner.I’m thankful for way too many things to list here entirely.Hope you all had a great thanksgiving!Hey Mark, just a thought, you know how the Cubs have their Cubs Convention every year? And how youtubers have started having their own conventions recently? Wouldn’t it be cool for MLBlogs to set up the same type of opportunity for MLBloggers? I think it would be a cool thing for the community and for baseball fans in general. “Thanks” for all your hard work and for considering the idea!

Hey MLB Mark. I have a question. I would like to add a search bar to my website. I don’t know how, though. Do you know any websites I could go to in order to install this? If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I want something like what “Burgh Blues” has. Thanks in advance.

“Happy Thanksgiving” !!!

On my post, “Happy Thanksgiving Day, 2008”, I reflect on the many things that I am thankful for … Also, at the end of the post I included a very inspirational “Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, 1986” by President Ronald Reagan who delivers a beautiful message on the true meaning of Thanksgiving … Everybody, “Have A Great Day” … Best Wishes and Happy Thanksgiving Day to all !!! … Jimmy [27NYY]

Just like Rockpile Rant,

I did a blog on “What I am Thankful for” but will not post it until Midnight tonight.

Again, everyone have a great Thanksgiving and remember to give to someone else who is not as blessed this holiday season.

I’m thankful that my family is all healthy now. It has been a rough year.
I’m thankful there is food on the table and people around the table to share it with.
I thankful that I live in a country where I can blog online about what I’m feeling without an “official” giving me the party line.
I thankful that I can support the team of my choosing.
I’m thankful that there are men & women who will be away at some foreign military post this Thankgiving – because you represent my freedom and I am forever grateful to you.
I am thankful that the world is still populated by loving, caring, gentle people. You make a dfference each day. I am thankful that when I awake each morning I can get out of bed and greet the day on my own two feet. I am thankful that I can watch our two boys growup and become whatever they want to be because we live in a land of great opportunity. I am thankful for this community here – you have all been so welcoming. And I am thankful for my Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins & Celtics.

Great list, “thanks.” Everyone please post on your own MLBlog and post your Permalink here so we can showcase them on MLBlogs.com. – MAN

I am thankful to Mark and MLBlogs for the support and the great feedback.
I am thankful that we have a forum to express ourselves with fellow bloggers who have a true passion for the sport.
I am thankful for a team in my hometown to call my own ( Rays).
I am thankful that my team got to taste the fruits of playoff baseball, and yearn for it again.
I am thankful to Stu Sternberg for bringing us a positive product on the field, and for being a truthful owner.
I am thankful for a manager like Joe Maddon, who is as much a teacher as he is a sage.
I am thankful that there was not any mortal injuries or fan situations that would damper this great year in baseball.
I am thankful that the free agency period this year has not been predictable, and is evolving slowly this year.
I am thankful to be a part of the basball family, who all gather to enjoy our nation’s pasttime.
And last, but not least,
I am thankful that we live in a country where we can all support our local teams without pressure or interferance from governments or dictatorships.

Everyone have a fantastic Thanksgiving and remember to go light on the turkey. God Bless and have a memorable holiday.
