Ariel, as noted in many previous posts, ability to find other bloggers is something that will be gradually built back into this platform with coming upgrades. It would have to be automated, because the way we did it in the first three years as a pay service was to just manually add to an index page on MLB.com each time someone created a blog. There have been as many new MLBlogs created since Opening Day as there were in the first three years now that we are free, so I’m not interested in trying to keep up with that manually. It will have to be an ID associated with creation of templates for new blogs, and we’ll gradually get there as there are always many new projects afoot here at MLBAM including last week’s launch of the ever-popular All-Star ballot. But we hear ya. :)

Yes, Mark is aware of this issue. I know because I sent them an email concerning this issue and he said that I wasn’t the first one to complain. It’s one of the things we have to deal with…

Nevermind, I guess I can comment. My last comment worked. That’s wierd becuase it says “You do not have permission to comment on this blog” under the leave a comment heading. Is this a bug in the mlblog system?

Why don’t I have permission to comment on this blog? How do I get permission?

That would be a great add-on. I’m always intrigued to read baseball content in the blogosphere, whether it regards the Los Angeles Dodgers or not. Hopefully, Mark can make it happen!

I like the new setup, but it’s harder to find blogs now that you don’t already know of. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I think it would be cool to have a drop-down list sorted by team of all the blogs just like the MLB Pro Blogs one.

Thank you for successfully installing the updates. I have a suggestion, however, for future releases of TypePad/MLBlogs. In the future, I hope that there will be an option to post images from a URL or website as well as uploading from your computer. It would be easier to post Dodgers’ images from the Dodgers official website (not copyright infringement since MLBlogs is legally affiliated with MLB and the Dodgers) than having to save them to my computer and upload the images. Keep up the great work!

Have not heard that reported by anyone else, seeing if any other cases out there.

Hi Mark,

I hate to be a pain, but since the page rebuilds, I haven’t been able to create a new links list. I can edit the existing ones without a problem, but I’m unable to create a new link.

If you’re still looking for reviewers for the ’88 Series, I’m very game. The best year of my baseball life, by far.
